Volunteer Opportunities

Trusted volunteers for nursing homes.

“Become a Friend to Someone.”

Adult volunteers (18 years +) provide weekly companionship to older adults who are living in nursing homes.

So many older adults living in nursing homes will tell you that the emotional pain of loneliness is far greater than any physical pain they may feel. The sad truth is, despite the quality of medical care received, nearly half of all long-term care residents do not receive outside visitors. One of the greatest needs is for companionship – to have a friend who who will be there, ‘just for them.’

If you want to make a difference for older adults in need, become a Community 360° Volunteer! The commitment is just one hour a week, and we provide a thorough training program to help you feel confident and ready for the work.

It is a very rewarding experience, and you’ll join dozens of people, who like you, are compassionate and committed to protecting and serving our elders.

All Community 360° Volunteers must complete the volunteer application and screening process prior to participation in the training class. Read more about the Volunteer Training program.
