Volunteer Opportunities

Trusted volunteers for nursing homes.

“Share the Gift of Love”

Adult volunteers (18 years +) make weekly visits to older adults who are living in nursing homes.

So many older adults living in nursing homes will tell you that the emotional pain of loneliness is far greater than any physical pain they may feel. The sad truth is, despite the quality of medical care received, nearly half of all older adults living in nursing homes do not receive outside visitors. One of the greatest needs we all have is for companionship, to have a trusted friend. This need is amplified for people living in nursing homes. They have a lot people around them, i.e., nurses and aides, but who is there “just for them?”

You can be that person that is there for them. To make a difference for older adults in need, become a Community 360° Volunteer! The commitment is just one hour a week, and we provide a thorough training program to help you feel confident and empowered to make a real difference in someone’s life.

It is a very rewarding experience, and you’ll join dozens of people, who like you, are passionate about touching the hearts and lives of people living in nursing homes.

All Community 360° Volunteers must complete the volunteer application and screening process prior to participation in the training class. Read more about the Volunteer Training program.
